Find an NHRI

National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs) have a critical role to play in implementing and monitoring the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. NHRIs conduct a range of activities to promote and protect the human rights of persons with disabilities. These can include awareness-raising programs, human rights training, review of existing legislation, proposing new legislation, promoting the rule of law, and investigating individual and group complaints of human rights violations.

Locate your National Human Rights Institution, or contact other National Human Rights Institutions with whom you wish to collaborate, share knowledge and good practices.

Search by country using the search tool below.

(If your search is unsuccessful a NHRI has not been established in your country.)
